We came together in early 2020 because we knew many people, particularly those of Black heritage, who were eager to give their money, time and skills to support the Black community but were unsure of how best to do so. We want to connect these potential donors with the projects that need their support.
We look for grassroots projects across the UK where Black Heritage Fund can make meaningful contributions. The causes we support become part of the Black Heritage Fund community, where they have access to the skills and experience of our supporters.
We finished fundraising for our very first beneficiary, T.A.P. Project in Manchester, at the end of 2021 and our work continued behind the scenes thereafter to provide the project with non-financial assistance too in collaboration with one of the world’s leading banks. You can read more about our work with T.A.P Project here.
We’re now beginning our work with two new beneficiaries: Be Lifted Now and Room to Heal. Find out more about our work with these two important groups here.
